"Äiti, mitä mä tekisin?!?" Vastasin kysymykseen ottamalla esille lehtiöllisen erivärisiä askartelukartonkeja, BigShotin ja pari hauskaa eläinaiheista stanssia. 6-vuotias tyttäreni osaa käyttää laitetta jo itsekseen, ja hän pyöritteli muutaman korttipohjan myös pikkuveljelleen. Opastin tytön työn alkuun, kunnes hän totesi: "Äiti, mä osaan kyllä ite!". Iltapäivän puuhahetkestä syntyi pino itsetehtyjä, värikkäitä kortteja vaikkapa kaverien synttärilahjojen mukaan laitettavaksi.
"Mom, what could I do?!?" I answered her question by taking out coloured cardstock, my BigShot and a few funny animal dies. My six year old daughter can work with BigShot by herself and she even made some die-cuts for her little brother. I just gave her few instructions on how to get started, but pretty soon she said "Mom, I can do these myself!". As a result of our afternoon crafting moment we now have a pile of self-made, colourful birthday cards to give to her friends.
