This layout is a collection of bits and pieces from my stash. Even the narrow strip of patterned paper in the background is something I've had for years. I simply gathered together embellishments in teal and other colors that work beautifully with the rich petrol shade in the picture, proving that supplies from different collections can come together perfectly when they're united by colour.
I added some extra interest to the background with stamping, and since my sewing machine happened to be out on my table, I stitched the tickets beneath the title directly onto the page.
Looking back now, I'm not entirely convinced the green acetate leaves were the perfect choice. The green is perhaps a little too bright compared to the otherwise muted color palette. Then again, they're firmly glued down, so they're staying exactly where they are! 😊
Even though I sometimes find myself questioning a detail after I've finished a layout, I still strongly believe it's important not to overthink every little decision while creating. At some point, you simply have to trust the creative process—and that's often when the magic happens.
