Hi!
I love taking photographs and capturing both special celebrations and the little moments of everyday life. For this layout, I chose one of my favorite photos from many years ago. After a Halloween party at daycare, I had the pleasure of giving none other than Batman a ride home—cape and all! Needless to say, I couldn't resist taking a photo of my little superhero sitting next to me.
The background paper is from 49 and Market, a manufacturer whose papers I really enjoy using. I especially appreciate the quality and durability of their cardstock; it stands up beautifully to inks, paints, sprays, and other mixed media techniques without warping. The patterned paper pieces layered behind the photo are from 49 and Market as well.
To finish the page, I added black bats and a black crow cut with Sizzix dies. I believe both designs are from Tim Holtz's Thinlits sets. These dark silhouettes were the perfect way to reinforce the Halloween theme on the layout.
One of the things I love most about scrapbooking is turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. Years later, a single photo is enough to bring back the whole story—and that's exactly why I love this hobby so much 💗
Hope the page made you smile, too 😊
Have a nice day!
