Scrapbooking layout: A day to remember

Scrapbooking layout: A day to remember

Hi!
My daughter's high school graduation celebration a little over a year ago was a truly memorable, and emotional day and as a scrapbooker I wanted to capture those precious memories in a layout.
The beautiful patterned paper from Craft O'Clock (Nighttime Chill collection) was the perfect choice for the background, and the fussy-cut flowers added just the right touch to this otherwise clean and simple design.

There are lots of floral embellishments layered on this layout—as there should be! I find fussy cutting incredibly relaxing. It's one of those simple crafting tasks that's perfect for enjoying while listening to an audiobook or a podcast.

These flowers were a pleasure to fussy cut because the designs were detailed enough to be interesting, but not so intricate that they became tedious to cut. I have to admit I'm not very patient when it comes to tiny, fiddly details! And the colors are simply gorgeous, don't you think?

Hoping you a wonderful, blooming day! Thank you for stopping by!
