Hi!
Whenever I get my hands on new patterned papers or embellishments and inspiration strikes, I often end up creating more than one project with the same collection. For these scrapbook layouts, I fell in love with the beautiful floral patterns from Vicki Boutin’s debut collection for 49 and Market: The Flower Emporium.
The simple grid-patterned background paper gave me plenty of creative freedom, so I ended up using my go-to single-photo layout design for both pages. The patterned papers already featured a few floral motifs along the edges, and I echoed those designs by adding clusters of fussy-cut flowers to embellish the pages and bring the floral theme together.
Double-page layouts always look beautiful, but for some reason I don't make them very often anymore. These two projects are almost like a double-page layout because they share the same style and many of the same design elements. They work well together and look lovely displayed side by side in an album.
Hope they inspire you, too!
Wishing you a lovely day,
hugs,
