Scrapbooking layout: Hooray for today

Hi!

This weekend in Finland was too cold for outdoor activities, but perfect for staying indoors and spending time at the crafting table. I had waited for the opportunity to take out my new AB studio / Mima Molina papers, and this weekend I finally had some time for scrapbooking.

So here's my first layout using papers from the kit 'Find Me'.  I decorated the circular patterns on the bottom with die-cut embellishments, and added three black cardstock circles of different shape and style on top of the page.

The inspirational patterned paper did not need too much additional decoration. I just added some stamped elements (stamps also designed by Mima Molina) and white cheese cloth which I glued on the paper. The title is fuzzy cut; unfortunately I cannot remember who's design it is.

Lots of layers uplift the photo nicely from the background. The layers are a perfect way to use your scrap paper pieces!

A wonderful page to put together! No overthinking but just letting the creative flow guide you. 💗

Wishing you a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by in my blog!
