Scrapbooking layout: Focus on the good

Hi!

Last weekend was a productive scrapbooking weekend: I was super excited about the new papers that I had purchased from ABstudio, and had waited impatiently the entire week to start playing with them. Especially the 'May Day' paper kit designed by  Mima Molina truly got my creative juices flowing; it has been a while since I have been so very inspired by new supplies!

The papers are filled with bright colors and bold textures. On this layout I decided to continue the textures that were printed on the paper and decorated the background with stencilled and stamped patterns, some grungy paper scraps, washi tape, machine sewn stitches and a piece of ripped cheesecloth.

More was more!

This layout was a boost of energy for me. After a series of cute pages with flowers and soft colors it was a fun to step into a quite different direction. This page is filled with courage, roughness, satisfaction and pure joy.

Hope you like it, too!
