Two scrapbooking layouts with watercolor flowers

Hi!
Today I'm showing you two layouts for which I have used beautiful botanical elements from Kaisercraft 'Magenta' collection. I did not have the entire set of papers but only some die-cuts and a sheet of flowers I fussy cut for my layouts. But they came a long way! :D

I layered the fussy cut flowers with a die-cut pink grid pattern. Worked well together!

White leaves I painted with watercolors. And the photo I lifted from the background with 3D foam stickers.

For the second layout I left the white sketched flowers and leaves unpainted. Love that look, too!

I used paint splatters for both layouts; white for the first one, and black for the second. Just to balance the softness of the pink/magenta/fuchsia watercolor flowers.

I really enjoyed working with these flower embellishments. Rich layers of flowers without increasing the height of the page (the pages still fit nicely into the page protector pockets in my scrapbooking album).
Hope these blooming pages inspire you, too!

Thanks for stopping by,
