What The Quack! ATC:s for AALL&Create

Hi!
Today I'm sharing with you an ATC trio I made using AALL & Create's lovely stamp set #135 (design by Olga Heldwein).

As usual, I started with stamping the cute main images on white paper. Then I colored them with my markers, and fuzzy cut.

For coloring the ATC backgrounds I used 'Salty Ocean' Distress ink. The lighter patterns on the cards is water that I splashed on the inked card. I let the ink react with water a few seconds and then dried the cards with a kitchen paper towel.

Once the paper was dry I stencilled some half moons on the paper. While working, I rotated the stencil a few times by 90 degrees.

I think the half moons looked like duck feather flying in the air! (stencil #43, 'Lunar Phases')

Before gluing down the main images I stamped a strip of dots with a slightly darker blue ink, and white washed the centres of each card with a very thin layer white gesso. Whitout the white highlighted area my main images would have blended in the busy background. White gesso allowed them to pop!

So this is how the cards turned out:

I hope my cards inspire you to create somehing fun this weekend. Thanks for stopping by in my blog :)
