Travel Memories: NYC

Hi!
Today I'm sharing with you a 12" scrapbook layout I made some time ago, using the vibrant Fireworks! mists by Imagine for the background:

For the title I printed the same picture twice; first I printed the skyscraper view on white vellum, and then a second time on glossy photo paper. I glued the large chipboard letters on the back of the glossy photo paper (letter front side against the back of the photo), and cut out. The vellum print was the same size than the photo paper print, so I placed the photo covered letters on the exact same spots. I think that effect looks quite nice!

The NYC silhouette is cut from black cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I found the image on the web, imported it into Silhouette Studio, modified a bit, and cut out. For gluing down the skyline I used the Imagine One Point glue that is just perfect for gluing down detailed pieces.

Wishing you a nice Easter weekend!
