Easy birthday cards

Hi!
Finnish challenge site Jehkotar Craft Challenge revealed a fun mood board for our November challenge:

Inspired by the candles and happy birthday wishes I made two simple cards:

The candle stamp image had originally 10 candles in a row. My task was to make one card for  a 9-years old birthday boy, and another one for an 11-years old birthday girl, I had to play a bit with post-it note masking. The candles and the background are coloured with watercolours, and decorated with a simple die-cut 'scribble' (die from *this* Tim Holtz/Sizzix die set). The die-cut scribble was a bit too large for this project, and I cut it to half before gluing it down on the card front.

The birthday wishes text ('Onnea' translates to 'Congrats') I punched with my Dymo.

These cards were really simple and quick to make! Maybe I should make a few more for the next birthday parties to come...!

Wishing you a happy day. Thanks for stopping by!
