Art journal page for Craft Stamper July Blog Challenge!

It's Friday the 13th, woohoo!
For us crafters it's a lucky day, as Craft Stamper Magazine blog challenge revealed today a lot of new stamping and paper crafting inspiration for our July challenge. Hope you have time to play with us; this month's prize is a great Faith Journaling bundle:

Inspired by the cute girly image by Ia Rafistolerie/Carabelle Studio I made this art journal page:

The die-cut oval background is colored with a red Ecoline liquid watercolour. Once the paper was dry I stencilled some patterns on top of the watercolour:

For colouring the art journal page background I used white and black acrylic paint. I applied the paint first with a brayer, and then softened the finish with a paint dabber.
After gluing the oval on the page I doodled a frame around the edge. A hint of white was needed, too, so I added a tiny white dot inside each doodled circle.

I coloured two stamped images on one go, so the other one I used for a cute bookmark:

Wishing you a wonderful, lucky day!
Thanks for stopping by in my blog .

Mail Art Monday at Viva Las VegaStamps! blog

Hope your week has started well.
Today was my turn to share my latest Mail Art project in Viva Las VegaStamps! blog. Here's a picture of my stamped and coloured envelope:

For stamping I used the simple masking stamping technique. And this envelope has even a decorated inside i.e. a self-made envelope liner!

Please visit VLVS! blog for more information of the project and stamps I've used. Step-by-step pictures are included, too!

Wishing you a wonderful day!
