Lisää kortteja ilmaisista kevätpapereista - More cards from free spring papers

Sizzixin ilmaiseksi ladattavista kuviopapereista syntyi kaksi korttia lisää. (Ensimmäiset korttiohjeet voit käydä lukemassa täältä):

I made two more cards from free spring papers (click here to access the pdf files). (First tutorial can be read here):

Näin helppo ja nopeatekoinen kortti valmistui:

Aloitin leikkaamalla valkoisesta kartongista hieman korttipohjaa pienemmän suorakaiteen. Värjäsin suorakaiteen reunat kevyesti keltaisella leimamusteella. Stanssasin tulostamastani kuviopaperista pieniä kuusikulmioita, jotka liimasin valkoiseen kartonkiin. Ohensin keltaista akryylimaalia vedellä ja roiskin pohjaan muutaman väritäplän kapealla siveltimellä.

Liimasin palan washi-teippiä keltaiselle kartonkisuikaleelle ja kiinnitin kortin kanteen. Koristelin suorakaiteen reunat suoralla koneompeleella ja kiinnitin korttipohjan kanteen kaksipuoleisella teipillä.

Ympyränmuotoisen tervehdystekstin leimasin viininpunaisella musteella valkoiselle kartongille ja stanssasin kuvion kartongista irti. Koristelin ympyrän reunat pienillä pykäpistoilla (muliinilangan kolmella säikeellä). Kiinnitin ympyrän paperikukan keskelle muutamalla kohotarralla ja liimasin kukan kortin kanteen.

  • Big Shot Starter Kit, 657000
  • Sizzix Framelits Die Set 10PK - Hexagons, 658609
  • Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles #2, 658604
  • Free Spring Paper by Sizzix and Taika
  • White card base (folded, rectangle,  size 11 cm x 15 cm)
  • White and yellow cardstock
  • Sentiment stamp
  • Paper flower
  • Washi tape (text “smile”)
  • Yellow stamping ink and yellow acrylic paint.
Purple stamping ink for stamping the sentiment text
  • Embroidery yarn and needle. White sewing yarn and sewing machine
  • Two-sided tape, glue, 3D foam stickers

This is how I made this quick and easy card:

I started by cutting a rectangle from white cardstock (slightly smaller than the card base). I gently inked the edges with yellow stamping ink. Then I die-cut small hexagons from the printed patterned spring paper and glued them on the white cardstock. The yellow dots are yellow acrylic paint mixed with water I splashed on the card front.

I mat a piece of washi tape on yellow cardstock and attached to card front. I decorated the edges by sewing simple straight stitches around the card. When finished I attached the front panel to the card base with two-sided tape.

I stamped the round sentiment text on white cardstock, die-cut it out and decorated with small blanket stitches. I used 3D foam stickers for attaching the sentiment on the paper flower and glue for attaching the paper flower on the card front.
Done!

Kortti “Sydämelliset onnittelut!”
"Birthday wishes!" card

Tarvikkeet:

Setin toinen kaarireunainen tagi on kooltaan hieman suurempi, joten sain sillä kehystettyä tervehdystekstin. Kiinnitin tagin kortin keskelle kohotarroilla. Valmista tuli!

This is how I made it:

I started with embossing a piece of patterned paper and die-cutting a lace border from white cardstock. I cut the die-cut border in half and attached the halves under the embossed rectangle.

I attached the die-cut panel on turquoise cardstock I cut slightly smaller than my card base. I finished the card front by sewing straight stitches around the edges and attaching two strips of light green satin ribbon on top and bottom. I attached the card front to card base with two-sided tape.

Then I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and die-cut the label. The second label die on the die set is slightly bigger than the other which makes framing the label super simple. I glued the smaller label on the turquoise label and attached the panel on the card front with 3D foam stickers.
Finished in no time!
